What resolution and in what format should my photos be?

A picture with the greater resolution in a higher printed photo quality is the best. We suggest importing photographs with a pixel density (PPI) of at least 150 to make certain the image quality is better for your picture gifts. And must be in JPG, JPEG or PNG format.

What is the difference between a Matte canvas and a Glossy canvas?

Essentially, the only difference between matte and glossy is in the "shine" of the canvas. Matte Canvas prints have very little glare so seemed to be better for high-contrast images containing a wide array of color combination. Gloss canvas prints do tend to make an image "pop" more, and help give the illusion of deeper, more vibrant tones even when they are more muted.

Don’t worry too much about your choice, because whether you opt for a matte finish or a glossy finish, your canvas print from Family Gifts will look amazing!

Can I see my personalised gift before buying? 

Family Gifts provide draft previews for all products. After customising your gift with Images, Names or Messages and clicking the ‘CLICK TO PREVIEW’ button on the product page, a window preview of your photo gift will show up. If you are happy with the customisation, select ‘Add to cart’ and you’re ready to either check out or continue shopping. And you can double-check the personalisation of the items in your cart before checking out. If there is anything different from what you designed, please go back and start your personalisation over.

What gifts can I personalise with photos?

At the moment, Family Gifts provide only canvas prints and photo mugs. We hope to expand with more customised gifts so more will be added in time. Enjoy our user-friendly customisation process and get a truly personalised gift for your loved ones. Mothers day, Fathers day, Birthday, Christmas, anniversary or any other occasion.

How can I add my photos and other personalised info to a product?

Family Gifts provide an easy and simple-to-use image uploading process. When you are on the product page, first choose the Size and Style. The page will change to a personalised template that you will able to customise. You will be given the option to upload your photo (or photos) either from your mobile phone or computer, which will then be added to the product for you to preview. 

Can I add text to these photo gifts as well?

You can easily add text to make the gift more personal. Most of our designs can be further personalised with text. You can add details like names, dates, messages and embellishments on an item if it is customised to do this.

Can I order more than 1 canvas?

Yes. If you order more than one canvas, each canvas will be shipped separately each with a tracking number to ensure safe delivery.

May I make a change to my order customisation after it has been submitted?

BE SURE to double-check your customisation before going to checkout as the product may already be in the printing & production stage, therefore it may be too late to change. If you really need to alter your order customisation, please contact our Customer Support team to see if it can be changed.

How does the Gift Cards work?

Gift cards are sold like a product, just choose the Gift card you want, add to cart and proceed to checkout. When you place an order for a gift card, you will receive an email that contains a unique gift card code that you can use at checkout to redeem its value. Shipping is included in the price. 

Gift cards can only be used for the product it is purchased for eg (Medium canvas), but can be used with any design. 

How long will my package take to arrive?

Your order will take between 24-48 hours to produce, quality check and pack ready for shipping, delivery time is 1-3 business days.
Most orders will be delivered in 5 working days, depending on where you live within New Zealand.
